SunGard Public Sector customers use local storage in the server room and they report in the past, customers have been reluctant to use data storage off site, but attitudes are beginning to change about that. Cloud storage can be very secure, although public safety offcials still have some nervousness about security issues. Data is stored locally and also in off-site locations in some instances, using thirdparty storage.
