FEATURE Solutions to the Stress of Technology SUMMARY Embrace the technology of today and commit to a strategy for managing police officer stress. Police departments should move toward: 1) comprehensive wellness programs; 2) mind-based techniques for stress reduction; and/ or 3) mandatory participation by all members of the organization in wellness programs developed for that purpose. Is technology evolving to make our jobs easier? Or are we constantly adapting to meet the needs of technology? No one is immune from "technostress" and "technology-related anger."
