A cut-away of the Winchester Supreme Elite .308 Win bullet is shown. The plastic tip protects the hollow point. The center of the bullet is solid brass. The rear of the bullet has the lead core. This is an excellent tactical and patrol choice. Golden Saber Bonded. The bullets in these calibers have the lead core essentially soldered to the brass jacket for the maximum weight retention after auto glass and car bodies. The bullet weight reten- tion of the Golden Saber Bonded is almost always 100 percent, regardless of tactical barrier. The nose cut (jacket serrations) in this hollow- point duty ammo cuts completely through the jacket for better bullet expansion, mushrooming that is controlled by the brass bullet jacket. In both lines of ammo, nickel plated cases provide reliable function in all types of pistols. The primer and its mouth are waterproofed for long term reliability. The Remington 12 gauge Tac 8 Buckshot is available in standard and Magnum loadings, and provides reliability, consistency and stopping power. This loading has the addition of the one-piece compression section Power Piston® wad column, polymer buffer- ing, and hardened 3 percent antimony pellets. The combination of these advanced features produces patterns 25 percent tighter than standard buckshot. In addition, Tac 8 is primer and mouth water- proofed for maximum reliability and weather integrity. Remington Premier Match ammunition combines Sierra's (amazing) MatchKing® bullets with the most stringent loading methods available today, to deliver true match-grade accuracy with absolute lot-to-lot consistency. Remington Premier Match covers the classic 223 Remington and 308 Winchester cartridges. It also covers the new Remington-exclusive, 6.8mm Remington SPC (Special Purpose Cartridge) and the 300 Remington Short- Action Ultra Magnum. Available only from Remington, the Premier Match version of the 300 Remington Short-Action Ultra Magnum provides shooters with velocities and energies previously only available in a long- action magnum platform. These inherently accurate short action cartridges provide for quick, second-shot follow-ups with less felt recoil than standard long action magnums. Remington Disintegrator Lead-Free Frangible pistol ammuni- tion offers totally lead-free, no-ricochet performance, with point The Federal Nyclad remains one of the best loads for the 38 Special revolvers. The Hornady TAP (Tactical Application Police) ammo is designed for reliable expansion with an emphasis on adequate penetration under all police scenarios. The high-energy, 357 SIG 124 grain TAP is shown. of impact and felt recoil equivalent to standard lead-core pistol ammunition. Its accuracy performance is as good or better than the best duty ammo. Disintegrator frangible bullets feature a high-strength, compac- tion formed core, completely sealed in a jacket of electroplated copper. The metal powder core construction creates a bullet that easily withstands the forces and pressure of firing, while provid- ing instant and complete frangibility against hard surfaces. Disin- tegrator bullets are made of compressed metal particles shaped into standard profile 9mm, 40 S&W;, and .45 ACP specifications. The copper plating on Disintegrator bullets provides a smooth, Federal Premium Tactical Buckshot gives the best patterns because the Flight Control wad holds the pellets into a tighter group. Remington 45 ACP 230 grain Golden Saber is shown in ballistic gelatin after defeating auto glass—reliable expansion and ideal penetration. www.lawandordermag.com 81
